LD 398 and LD 525 are trying to change that. Maine legislators need to hear from citizens who believe that all workers deserve civil rights.
Would you be willing to testify on Tuesday afternoon, April 18th - in person, on Zoom or through written testimony - from your perspective as a consumer or community member?
If you haven't submitted testimony before (or need a reminder of how to plan and do it), you can go to MUUSAN Tips and Tools for Legislative Advocacy > Testifying before Legislative Committees > Giving Legislative Testimony or Guide to Submitting Written Testimony. Your written testimony for either or both bills needs to be submitted by Monday, April 17th.
For talking points, questions, technical support, or to let us know you are testifying, please contact Reba at [email protected].
Thank you!
