Lights, Camera, Action! CKG on Virginia this Morning

We had the exciting opportunity to be featured on Virginia this Morning!

This segment was extra special because it featured Sydney Gallagher, Cameron's sister and CKG's summer intern.

Sydney shared about this year's SpeakUp5k and how the CKG Foundation got started.

CKG in the Community

The CKG staff took a field trip to Groundwork RVA to lead a self care activity with their students. Groundwork RVA works with Richmond youth and communities to facilitate environmental, economic, and social well-being in neighborhoods by changing places, changing lives, and changing systems.

Climbing for CKG

Climbing a mountain is strikingly similar to the journey of maintaining mental health. Both require resilience, perseverance, and the ability to navigate challenging terrain. In the same way that ascending a mountain involves facing steep slopes and unpredictable weather, managing mental health involves confronting life's obstacles and uncertainties.

Both journeys, whether up a mountain or towards mental health, emphasize the transformative power of facing challenges head-on and emerging stronger on the other side.
