TUESDAY, JANUARY 24, 2023

Serving as a keynote for our SCAPC session retreat this weekend is Bob McKillop, currently Leader-in-Residence at Davidson College where he coached for 33 years. Members of the congregation and larger community are invited to Coach McKillop’s closing address at noon this Saturday in the Sanctuary.

FLOWER MINISTRY

The Congregational Care Committee has been hard at work on their new Flower Ministry. Each week volunteers from the committee break down the flowers from the Sunday morning Sanctuary arrangements into smaller vases and deliver those to church members in special need of an uplifting gesture. Pictured here from left are Melissa McDonald, Mayson Buffington, Helen Barnett, and Nancy Ellis - working in the church kitchen during a power outage, no less! Please keep this ministry in mind and reach out to Miriam Hollar, [email protected], if you know of a church member who could use a treat on their doorstep!

SUNDAY MORNING SNACK SIGN-UP

The Congregational Life Committee is calling for volunteers to bring snacks for coffee hour on Sunday mornings after services. Small snacks such as cookies or donuts are a perfect bite-size treat. However, it is up to you what you would like to bring. We invite you to consider your snacks as a donation to the congregation. That being said, the Congregational Life Committee will happily reimburse you up to $50. To sign up, click here. For more information please contact [email protected].
