Hi everybody, it’s Jon
I will be attending the SUFU Conference event put on by SUFU. It will be held in Bangor at the Bangor Grande. You get to meet new and old friends that maybe you have not seen in a long time. You will have lots of FUN. It’s a great way to meet face to face all the SUFU Staff.  We laugh and tell jokes along the way. You can sit with your friends at Lunch or Dinner or help them if they came by themselves.
The SUFU Conference can be lots of FUN. We a have dance on Tuesday and it can be joyful. There is a pool at this hotel for us to enjoy if we want to. 

The Workshops can be very interesting, and you can get a lot of information at the workshops. 
There is also a raffle that you can purchase tickets for to win some great prizes.   
We hope to see you at the conference! 
What to Expect

The following is an outline of what to expect during the SUFU Conference

Tuesday:
11:00 AM - Doors open! We will begin Checking In individuals and handing out bags.
11:45 AM - Welcome
12:00 PM - Lunch
1:00 PM - Workshop & Vendor Fair
2:30 PM - Workshop & Vendor Fair
4:00 PM - Hotel Check in, and snack
4:45 PM - Break. Conference Room closed.
5:30 PM - Seating for dinner.
7:00 PM - Music and Dancing.
10:00 PM - End of Dance

Wednesday:

7:00 AM - Breakfast
7:45 AM - Board Meeting
8:00 AM - Check in for those attending just day 2.
8:15 AM Workshop 1
9:30 AM - Hotel Check-Out and Break
9:45 AM - Workshop 2
11:00 AM - Snack
11:15 AM - Workshop 3
12:30 PM - Lunch
1:30 PM - Workshop 4
2:50 PM - Depart for home!
What to bring

What should you bring to the SUFU Conference? Great question!

  • Items you need to spend the night (if you are spending the night) in a bag with your name on it.
  • Swim suit & towel for the pool in evening (if you want to swim)

  • Do you like to dress up for dinner and dancing? Pack that!

  • Comfortable clothes for participating in the conference workshops.

  • Cash for the raffle table.

  • Your friendly smile!

  • An open mind to meet new people and learn new things!

Please note the Bangor Grande is cashless. If you wish to purchase something from them you would need a way to pay for it not using cash.
