Canvassing Opportunity with the Biden Campaign
Canvass with Team Florida
Join Team Florida for a canvass in St. Augustine to get out the vote! We can flip Florida blue and elect Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and Democrats up and down the ballot in 2020 with your help.

Sign up here to canvas:

All canvassers will be required to wear a mask, sign a health and safety consent form, and remain socially distant while canvassing. You must attend an online training BEFORE you sign-up for your first shift, otherwise we will not be able to send you out on the doors. All canvass trainings are virtual and we will NOT be offering any in person trainings at this time. You can sign up for a training here: http://joe.link/FLCT.

For those who decide to canvass with the Biden team, we want to encourage you to stop by Democratic Headquarters (71 South Dixie Highway, Suite 6, St. Augustine, FL 32084) to pick up campaign literature for our Democrats who are also on the ballot to take along with the canvassing list and Biden literature, which would be available at Suite 3 in our building.
Text messaging has begun and phone banks continue

So many Democrats have signed up to vote by mail — but we need your help to remind them to fill their ballots out and send it in! This is a statewide text bank that will also send Democrats voting by mail their personalized #SunshineSlate☀️ Democratic voting guides so November can bring victories up and down the entire ballot!

Since September 27, Democrats are texting voters each day from 11 AM - 8 PM. Volunteers can join the shift and help text voters at any time — and strongly encourage that you join our daily kick-off Zoom meeting for special instructions with the FDP Training Director BEFORE you begin texting!
Phone calls continue for Vote by Mail

There is a script for making calls to encourage Democrats to vote by mail on the Florida Democratic Party website. If you click on www.floridadems.org/phone-banking/ then click on the box for St. Johns County, you will see the new script and can begin making calls. Be sure to familiarize yourself with the script before you begin as you may wish to rephrase it in a way more natural to you

If you have not previously made calls, you may have to create an Action ID in order to participate. You can set one up yourself by following the instructions on the website. If you have a problem, don't hesitate to contact Diane Abell at: [email protected] or 904-827-3456 to walk you through the process.

And you will need to know the telephone number of the St. Johns Supervisor of Elections Office when making the calls: 904-823-2238

Registered voters can also sign up online for vote by mail, or to view their voter information at: votesjc.com and by clicking on the My Voter Status button.
Or by check payable to SJC DEC and sent to Democratic Headquarters.
Please Note: Contributions to Political Parties are not tax-deductible.
