UPCOMING: Full I-5 freeway closure planned between El Toro Road and Alicia Parkway

CLOSURE ALERT

Crews will set girders for the second half of the Los Alisos Boulevard Bridge beginning this Friday, Sept. 15. A full directional closure is required for the southbound and northbound I-5.

WHEN:

• 11 p.m. Friday, Sept. 15, to 8 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 16
• 11 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, to 8 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 17
• If needed, the closures will be implemented on Sunday, Sept. 17, and Monday, Sept. 18.



WHAT TO EXPECT:

• I-5 Freeway – southbound I-5 closed from El Toro Road to Alicia Pkwy Friday night, Sept. 15. As needed, Sunday night.
• I-5 Freeway – northbound from Alicia Pkwy to El Toro Road Saturday night, Sept. 16. As needed, Monday night.
• Los Alisos Boulevard bridge will also be closed.
• Plan for additional travel time.

Safe and direct detours will be in place.

The schedule is subject to change due to inclement weather or unforeseen operational issues.

UPCOMING: Weekend closure planned for SB I-5 on and off-ramps at Avery Parkway

CLOSURE ALERT

Crews will reconstruct the southbound I-5 on- and on-ramps at Avery Parkway. This requires a full weekend closure of both ramps as well as portions of Avery Parkway.

WHEN:

• 10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 15. through 5 a.m. Monday, Sept. 18

WHAT TO EXPECT:

• Full weekend closure of both ramps as well as portions of Avery Parkway.
• Portions of Avery Parkway will also close, from the I-5 overpass westbound to Camino Capistrano.
• The northbound I-5 and off- and on-ramps will remain open. 
• Signs will be in place to assist motorists.
• Plan for additional travel time throughout the area.



Safe and direct detours will be in place.
