The following information outlines an important update to the Ohio WIC Program. Vendors are responsible for ensuring that cashiers and other appropriate store personnel are trained on the updated information.
Whole Grains:
Starting April 1, 2020, Ohio WIC participants will have the ability to purchase variable amounts of whole grains beyond the 16 oz options they have previously purchased. Along with 16 oz options, participants will be able to purchase authorized options of the following sizes: 8 oz, 12 oz, 14 oz, 18 oz, 20 oz, 24 oz and 32 oz.
