Message from Village President Mike Aimone
Dear Union Grove Community Members,

The last several days have been trying on our country, state and community. We have seen a virus spread throughout the world, hit the shores of America, travel to the Midwest, and make its way to our own county.

We want to let you know that your Village Team has been working on implementing procedures for the safety of, not only our residents, but also just as importantly, our employees that provide critical services.

You can read more about the efforts of our Fire Department, Public Works & Utilities and Racine County Sheriff's Department by clicking here . We ask for your patience with dispatchers who are required to ask questions relating to virus symptoms on all calls. Please note that non-essential public works services may be suspended due to reduced staffing. All garbage and recycling services from Johns Disposal are continuing as scheduled.

Please help our first responders, doctors and medical professionals by keeping them available for those who need them the most.

We understand that many in our community will be enduring financial hardship as a result of this pandemic. Be assured the Village will be working with everyone on a case-by-case basis for any payments owed to the Court, Village and Utilities.

While we know not everyone uses social media -- whether it be Facebook, UnionGrove.net, local newspapers, we have an ask of you to share this information with anyone you know within the community of Union Grove.

Union Grove is the type of community that will come out the other side of this struggle stronger and better than before. We will get through this together.

Please be Safe, and not only practice but perfect “Social Distancing.”
Let’s work together to stay safe, healthy and prepared, without panicking.

We will keep you updated.

With sincere appreciation,

Mike Aimone
Village President
