The Supporting, Mobilizing and Accelerating Research for Tuberculosis Elimination (SMART4TB) consortium, with funding from USAID, is inviting diagnostic developers to apply for funding to advance the development of oral swab-based TB assays on already-existing point-of-care (POC) molecular platforms via the below-linked RFA Portal.

The Resource Allocation Program awards in TB research are mentoring and training grants eligible to UCSF and UC Berkeley Early Stage Investigators to conduct a TB-focused research project. RAP Awardees will receve $40,000 toward their research and be enrolled in TB RAMP.

WTBD is hosting a session dedicated to help researchers learn how to share their work effectively with the community. The competition will reward who can best present their work in layman’s terms in 3 minutes. The winner will receive a prize!

Who can apply? Everyone! Senior/ junior faculty, postdoc fellows, research analysts/ associates, and grad students.
