2020 Manassas Business of the Year: Didlake Inc.

On Thursday evening February 27, 2020 the Prince William County Chamber of Commerce hosted its 10th Annual Business Awards Dinner at the Hylton Performing Arts Center in Manassas to honor the best of the local business community. Awards recognize excellence in business, innovative practices, and outstanding contributions to the community and businesses/organizations that stand out among their peers.

The City of Manassas presented its "Business of the Year Award" to Didlake Inc. 

Didlake is a not-for-profit corporation headquartered in Manassas. It was founded in 1965 to create opportunities for people with disabilities through services that connect them to employment, education and the community. It provides contract business services for commercial and government customers employing over 1,200 people, and has won numerous awards for its facilities maintenance, packaging and assembly and administrative services.

For 20 years, Xiao-Yin Byrom, a first generation Chinese-American, has made her mark here in Manassas.  What began in 1999 as a one-person alterations shop has evolved to include a bridal boutique with custom designer gowns and a staff of 10.  Xiao-Yin's steadfast commitment to providing the highest level of customer service, and her genuine desire to make every person who comes into her shop look and feel their best, has driven her success.
