The Reverend Allen L. Lewis, 77, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, passed away on Monday, April 29, 2019, at Avera McKennan Hospital.
Fr. Al is well known to the congregations on Maui. He has been a part-year resident on that Island for many years.
The funeral will be at 11:00 AM, Monday, May 6, 2019, at Calvary Episcopal Cathedral, 500 S. Main Ave., Sioux Falls, South Dakota, with private family interment at Woodlawn Cemetery.
Memorials may be given in his name to “The University of the South – The School of Theology, 335 Tennessee Avenue, Sewanee, TN 37383.”
ALMIGHTY AND ETERNAL GOD, to whom there is never any prayer made without hope of mercy, be merciful to the soul of your faithful servant, Allen, being departed from this world in the confession of your Holy Name that he and all the departed may be welcomed into the company of your saints, through Christ our Lord. Amen.
Rest eternal grant him, O Lord, and let light perpetual shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen.
