Our St. Serra parents are making a huge difference with the gift of their time, talent and treasure. I would like to applaud our leaders and their teams of volunteers for sharing their caring heart, and creating amazing events for our students and families. Each and every family's participation is valued and appreciated.

From the father/daughter photos on the big screens to the freshly made mini donut bites for all OR the fun of taking a chance on the giant unicorn to the special moments for 8th graders and their Dads; we are extremely thankful to every committee member and volunteer who made the evening so heartfelt. We are pleased to announce that our dance raised over $15,000 for the children of St. Serra.
Thank you to PTO VP Book Fair, Stephanie Angelos and Book Fair Event Chairs Megan Fimbres, Ginaea Bauer and Angie Miller, whose commitment provided hundreds of students the joy of shopping for books and promoting student reading. Our total Book Fair sales were over $23,000; meeting our $4,500 operating goal with the point balance being used towards Purchasing of Scholastic books for our St. Serra Library.
Thank you to PTO VP Santa Secret Christmas Shop (SSCS), Kathy Bonin and SSCS Event Chair, Carrie Mulvee, for creating a winter wonderland shopping environment for students and for organizing a large team of hard working parent volunteers. All the shopping assistants, cashiers, wrappers, inventory helpers and more made it possible for our students to bring gifts home to put under your Christmas tree. This event met the budgetary goal for the PTO to support its programs to benefit all St. Serra students.
Every volunteer's time, talent and treasure is greatly appreciated and is what creates our caring SJSC community!
