BRHD COVID-19 Vaccination Plans:
PHASE 1 A begins
This week, Blue Ridge Health District (BRHD) launched a new COVID-19 vaccination clinic site at the former Kmart parking lot in Charlottesville, VA. Thanks to the help of our BRHD team, Medical Reserve Corps, Red Light Management + Bama Works Fund of Dave Matthews Band, Skyline Tent Company, Martin Horn, and Riverbend Development, BRHD began vaccinating Phase 1A eligible frontline healthcare workers at the site this week.

Vaccination clinics will be expanded throughout the health district next week and BRHD will soon begin to vaccinate all Phase 1A frontline healthcare workers. At this time, all vaccinations are by appointment only for Phase 1A individuals. Read below for more information about upcoming vaccine phases, including new surveys for Phase 1B. BRHD is working on plans for Phase 1B and then will have surveys and information available for individuals who fall within Phase 1C. Visit our BRHD COVID-19 Vaccination website for the latest information about our vaccination plans.

COVID-19 Vaccine Dashboard
VDH recently launched an interactive COVID-19 Vaccine Dashboard where you can stay up-to-date with the latest number of individuals who have been vaccinated in our local health district. This dashboard reports individuals vaccinated based on where they live, not where they received the vaccine.

Remember, vaccination is only one tool to end the pandemic. We need to use them all in order to return to normal day-to-day activities.
Protect yourself and others by continuing to wear your mask, keeping your distance from others, and avoiding indoor gatherings.
