Educational Objectives
The year 2020 has brought about national crises in the United States like no other time in history. Not only are we facing the global pandemic of the coronavirus (COVID-19), but we are also navigating systemic racial injustice in an intense sociopolitical environment. Many of us have also experienced the direct impacts of climate change, including uncontrolled wildfires, intense storms and historic flooding. Just how much stress can one person or one system endure? This presentation will present interventions for posttraumatic stress as a result of multiple national crises.
