Thank you to all who attended the Special Council Meeting on Sunday! This is a vital part of the discernment process in making decisions together. We are grateful for your prayers throughout this process thus far and as we move forward.

Aaron Johnston reviewed the building plans and cost estimates, and Rodney Sauder presented our current financial position as well as the Church Board's recommendation to request a loan from the Brethren in Christ Foundation for our rebuilding and renovation work. Good discussion followed.

The results are the voting are as follows:

Quorum

• 33% 112 of 342 voting members (20% needed for quorum)

Recommendation

• To request a construction loan from the BIC Foundation for up to $1.55M for the rebuilding of our children, youth, and office areas.

The recommendation was approved by 96% of the voting members. The Board will share information about our next steps and an upcoming capital campaign as it is available.
