The Special Education Advocacy Summit (SEAS) is a two-and-a-half-day special education advocacy training program at St. Mary's University School of Law in San Antonio (June 5 - June 8, 2024).
The program is designed for experienced advocates, law students, new attorneys, and attorneys new to special education law. It includes sessions on applicable laws, ethics, best practices in advocacy, strategies for working with parents and schools, and dispute resolution procedures. Sessions will be taught by national leaders in the field.
The program begins with a reception on Wednesday evening, June 5, 2024, and ends on Saturday afternoon, June 8, 2024.
Attendees are selected via an application process. Applications are reviewed bi-weekly until the class is full. Pre-application checklist.

Alumni Program
The Special Education Advocacy Summit (SEAS) invites attendees of a prior SEAS or Institute of Special Education Advocacy (ISEA) program at William & Mary Law School to attend the alumni portion of the program on June 7-8.
The alumni option includes approximately 7 sessions on laws, ethics. It begins with a lunch session on Friday, June 7, 2024, and ends on Saturday afternoon, June 8, 2024. Alumni apply here.
