Restoring Indigenous Relationships with the Land,
with Neil Patterson, Jr.
FREE, Sept. 14, 2-4 pm
Hear Neil Patterson, Jr. (Tuscarora), Saturday, Sept. 14 from 2-4 pm at the Seneca Art & Culture Center for a fascinating and timely talk co-sponsored by the 1816 Friends Quaker Meetinghouse.

Indigenous Peoples have unique relationships with the lands and waters, formed by multiple ways of knowing. Distinct from Western perspectives, they are passed down by language, oral tradition, belief systems, and traditional practices. This way of knowing the Natural World can serve as a principle for the restoration of our shared planet.

Patterson is assistant director of the Center for Native Peoples & the Environment at SUNY-ESF, located in Onondaga Territory. This is a FREE event, exclusive of admission to the Seneca Art & Culture Center.
