Dear Thornton Creek Community,
All Site Council parent representative positions are now open for the 2021-2022 school year. Stepping into these roles is a great way to help out, meet people, and get involved, but right now it’s extra important. As the school welcomes a new principal, gets back to fully in-person instruction, and continues on-going work to make racial justice a reality at our school, there will be big needs and lots of opportunity to help as a parent leader. If you’re interested in a role, we want to hear from you. Reach out to any TC Parent Group (TCPG) leader to find out more. Check
the Site Council page
for contact info (on the side) or for brief descriptions (at the bottom).
Additional information about Site Council and TCPG positions can be found in the Site Council Charter and the TCPG by-laws. You can also attend the next Site Council Meeting, Tuesday, May 11, at 6:30-8:30 pm to hear more about the positions.
Zoom Meeting ID 968 0245 7918
or by phone at 253-215-8782
Nominate yourself for a position, join a committee or step up to coordinate a student-centered event by indicating your interest on this nomination form. You are each invited to participate in whatever way works best for you! We can’t wait to have you join us!
Look for information coming in early June about how to exercise your voice and vote for leadership positions.
