Please come and join our Thornton Creek Interactive Art Walk during the whole month of May!

Students and families are invited to follow our scavenger hunt to areas around the outside of our TC building. Once there, you may add to a group weaving, leave a message on our Hopes and Dreams Heart, create your own land art/nature art sculpture, see our TC paper Children’s March, and view beautiful art works by our rising-up fifth graders.

Come to the front of the school building for directions. Please wear masks and observe social distancing while partaking in the Art Walk. You will find a map and guidance near the office doors. While on your walk you can also find clues for the scavenger hunt riddles.

You may come to interact with the art at any time. We must discourage too many people from participating before drop-off and after pick-up. If it seems you cannot social distance your family at those times, please choose an evening or weekend to enjoy the Art Walk. Please use your best judgement to keep us all safe.

You might wish to bring some nature objects from around where you live, a park, or green space to build your land art/nature art sculptures. Extra materials will be very helpful. We will have guidelines on site for you at the sculpture area.
