Each election cycle, the Government Affairs Committee of the Greater Eureka Chamber of Commerce provides the community with an opportunity to hear from local candidates about their views related to issues of importance to the business community.
This year, we asked candidates running for key offices in the City of Eureka and Humboldt County to respond to the three questions:
- How will you advocate for local businesses to help them navigate the current economic climate?
- How will you evaluate and leverage State and Federal initiatives to better support our local businesses?
- How can we better work together and improve two-way communication between local businesses and City and County government to ensure that area businesses are adequately engaged and their needs considered when City and County-wide decisions are being made?
