COVID Surge Drives New Rules, Relief Efforts
Maryland is facing a vexing surge of coronavirus, with positive tests and serious cases both driving toward a “danger zone,” in Governor Hogan’s words. His urging for Marylanders to redouble their seriousness was accompanied by new State and county actions. Local jurisdictions are setting tighter standards, and - further still - are promoting new or extended relief programs for local businesses and restaurants.
