As the 2020-21 school year comes to an end, we must pause to give thanks to all of YOU for persevering through a school year that presented incredible challenges. Because of your courage, resilience, and fortitude, together we were able to help our students complete this school year. Congratulations and thank you!
We hope we were able to demonstrate our ability to be resilient, resourceful, and relevant by providing support in the areas most needed by our students. We continued to help bridge the gap in meeting basic student needs, academic support, mental behavioral and emotional support, professional training for educators, teacher grants and so much more!
THANK YOU to our teachers, educators, nurses, counselors, administrators, staff, bus drivers, custodians, and Issaquah School District Board and Leaders for their expertise, dedication, and hard work. Thank you to our corporate, business, and community partners including all PTSAs, Influence the Choice, Issaquah Food & Clothing Bank, Rotary, Kiwanis, the City of Issaquah and Sammamish, and the Issaquah Chamber of Commerce. We are extremely fortunate to have a village of incredible support!
We hope this summer will be a state of mindful renewal. A time to reset and reboot! Please take advantage of the resources available through our Parenting Toolbox. Please refer to our events calendar to take advantage of summer activities and learning opportunities to prepare for the new school year. I look forward to new beginnings and the promise of a brighter school year ahead. Until then, please have a safe, healthy, enjoyable, and memorable summer!
With appreciation and gratitude,
