Special Summer Edition
As the 2020-21 school year comes to an end, we must pause to give thanks to all of YOU for persevering through a school year that presented incredible challenges. Because of your courage, resilience, and fortitude, together we were able to help our students complete this school year. Congratulations and thank you!

We hope we were able to demonstrate our ability to be resilient, resourceful, and relevant by providing support in the areas most needed by our students. We continued to help bridge the gap in meeting basic student needs, academic support, mental behavioral and emotional support, professional training for educators, teacher grants and so much more!

THANK YOU to our teachers, educators, nurses, counselors, administrators, staff, bus drivers, custodians, and Issaquah School District Board and Leaders for their expertise, dedication, and hard work. Thank you to our corporate, business, and community partners including all PTSAs, Influence the Choice, Issaquah Food & Clothing Bank, Rotary, Kiwanis, the City of Issaquah and Sammamish, and the Issaquah Chamber of Commerce. We are extremely fortunate to have a village of incredible support!

We hope this summer will be a state of mindful renewal. A time to reset and reboot! Please take advantage of the resources available through our Parenting Toolbox. Please refer to our events calendar to take advantage of summer activities and learning opportunities to prepare for the new school year. I look forward to new beginnings and the promise of a brighter school year ahead. Until then, please have a safe, healthy, enjoyable, and memorable summer!

With appreciation and gratitude,

Special Thanks to These Fantastic Board Trustees
We are extremely grateful for these wonderful and dedicated parents and community volunteers who have served on our Board of Trustees over the past three to nine years. They selflessly dedicated their time, talent, and treasure to the Foundation serving our students and their families. It's bittersweet to see them leave as they move on to their next chapter in life. Their contributions have been immeasurable! We look forward to a new group of Trustees who will be stepping in soon to make their mark. Join us in thanking each one of these remarkable individuals. We couldn't have done it without you!
Thank you for your service and leadership!
Dining for Kids: That's a Wrap!
Thank you for supporting Dining for Kids this year! Your participation helped us raise funds that provided basic student needs for kids in our community. The Foundation thanks our resilient 2020-21 Monthly DFK partners: Agave Cocina – Issaquah Highlands, Tutta Bella - Issaquah, and Levitate Gastropub, as well as Hops n Drops for its generous, year-round partnership.

These restaurants remained committed to donating back to support our students during a particularly challenging year, and we invite you to continue supporting them throughout the summer! We hope to bring back a full line up for Dining for Kids this fall and look forward to seeing you at the table!
