Did you know that Spectrum at Val Vista has a website?

This is a valuable resource for residents, and we encourage you to utilize the website to do the following:

  • Download important forms, including architectural submittal applications, field reservation applications, facility rental information, and tennis court and pool key registration forms.
  • Review the CCNR’s, financial reports, board agendas, and Spectrum Community Association policies and procedures.
  • Review the violation process and key guidelines for the most common violations – architectural and design review, parking restrictions, and trash schedules.
  • Review quarterly assessment information and payment options.
  • View an interactive map of amenities and walking trails within the community, and reserve the community center, ramadas, and fields via our online reservations system.
  • Register for upcoming events and programs offered at Spectrum.
  • Sign up for Spectrum E-News, or read the most recent newsletter.
  • Contact the SCA staff or our management company.

3rd Annual Spectrum Paint Expo
Saturday, Nov. 2 | 10 AM - 12 PM

As we continue to notify homeowners that they are required to have their homes repainted, we also want to continue to provide valuable resources to begin the process.  At the Paint Expo, you can meet representatives from local paint supply companies, and request bids from our participating paint vendors.

Pre-Approved paint schemes will also be available to view, and our Assistant Community Manager, Regina Sbraccia, will be on-site to answer any questions you might have about the Design Review process.

We will have a live raffle, offering gift cards from the participating vendors. All attendees will be entered to win.

We hope you will join us!
In preparation for the 2020 Census, address canvasing has begun in neighborhoods across the country. Census takers will be knocking on doors to verify addresses in an effort to ensure an accurate and complete count. Census takers will never ask for social security numbers, mothers’ maiden names or credit card numbers and this information should never be provided.

Each Census taker will carry an ID badge, bag, and either a phone, iPad or laptop – all clearly marked with a Census Bureau logo. If you still have questions, call 800-923-8282 to speak with a local Census Bureau representative to verify that a Census taker is currently canvasing your area.

Additionally, an online interactive map shows the areas that the Census Bureau plans to send address canvassers.
Pet Waste Reminders
We've recently had several complaints about pet waste in the Serenity Garden - a private park in the Quail Crest neighborhood. Please be a kind neighbor and pick up after your pet when he/she leaves behind a mess. Utilize pet waste stations throughout the community, and be sure to carry back up bags in case there isn't one nearby.
Winter Turf Overseeding
We will be overseeding almost all of our common area green space in Spectrum this fall. Overseeding will take place between September 30th and October 25th . Please be careful when utilizing the common areas during this time, and try to refrain from using it at all. This will ensure a successful seeding process and beautiful grass through the winter months and into Spring 2020.

Learn more about overseeding and how to implement this in your own lawns by reading the full September Newsletter from Four Peaks.
