Learn more about how you can help neighbors in need
The Chamber is partnering with the Capitol Hill Community Council and Capitol Hill Housing to empower neighbors and community members to be a changemaker on homelessness in our neighborhood!   Attend a community forum and open house from 6:00-8:00 PM on October 20th at the Summit Space (420 E. Pike) to learn about the services and organizations currently working on homelessness issues in Capitol Hill, and find out how YOU can help!

The Capitol Hill Chamber of Commerce's 7th annual Hilloween event is a one-day community celebration on Broadway, Pike and Pine that welcomes thousands of attendees.  This community party is free and open to everyone - designed with kids in mind - but just as fun for adults too.

The indoor kid's carnival returns this year to the Seattle Central College Mitchell Activity Center, which will be transformed into a straw-bale maze featuring fun age-appropriate activities, Halloween-themed games, live performances, and fabulous tricks and treats!
The carnival concludes with our signature costume parade led by the Chaotic Noise Marching Band and trick-or-treating with participating merchants along Broadway, Pike and Pine - don't forget to stop by the Haunted Laboratory at 1st Security Bank!

Visit the Hilloween website for a more complete list of activities and performances, or RSVP to   our Facebook event page.

Participate in the Trick or Treat On Broadway, Pike and Pine October 29th!

Merchants along Broadway, Pike, and Pine are encouraged to participate in this year's Hilloween Trick-or-Treat from 3-6PM on October 29th.  We'll provide the "Candy Poster" and direct kids your way with a Trick or Treat map.  We ask that merchants participate by:
  • Hanging a "Candy Poster" in your window to advertise the event and let kids know the day of that you have candy for them
  • Buy plenty of candy to hand out from 3-6PM
  • Have your employees dress in  costume
  • If you are off the beaten path of Broadway, we suggest you make signs to show kids the way to your door or have an employee in costume on the sidewalk
