On Sunday September 18th hundreds of cyclists joined together to participate in the Ride to Defeat ALS. The ALS Association of Massachusetts raised $420,000. Funds raised at this event support the thousands of people living with ALS in Massachusetts. These funds help to discover treatments and a cure, to serve, advocate for and empower people affected by ALS to live their lives to the fullest.
Team Nick Bourke was awarded Rookie Team of the Year and Top Fundraising Team. Nick’s team had the largest presence with over eighty riders, ten volunteers and an incredible cheering squad. Together, thanks to your efforts, we raised more than $108,510.
The ALS ride was truly amazing! It was a day of fun, joy, hope, camaraderie, and teamwork. Nick was surrounded with love and support! Nick participated in the 25-mile leg of the race on the back of a tandem bike. We wanted to share this amazing day with you by sharing some of our photos and videos. Again, thank you so much for all your support!
