Inclusion Works Provider Innovation Program

Application Deadline Extended To June 6

The Inclusion Works Provider Innovation Program is an opportunity for I/DD Employment Service Providers in NC to expand competitive integrated employment. Providers will receive personalized tools and technical assistance at no cost and $75,000 in financial incentives for participating.


To be eligible for this program, you must be an Employment Service Provider Agency currently offering non-CIE jobs to individuals with I/DD. Applications are being accepted through Friday, June 6, 2025. Please reach out to Claire Colligan with any questions.

Inclusion Works Strategic Plan

Public Comment Period Extended to June 6

NCDHHS has finalized the draft Inclusion Works Strategic Plan and has posted the document for public comment on the Inclusion Works website. The draft plan outlines the vision for improving CIE opportunities and outcomes for individuals with I/DD in North Carolina.​


The public comment period has been extended to Friday, June 6, 2025. Comments may be submitted by email. For more information on how the draft Strategic Plan was developed, watch the webinar and review the presentation.

DMH/DD/SUS Draft Black Youth Suicide Prevention Action Plan

Public Comment Open Through June 6

DMH/DD/SUS is partnering with DPH, UNC SPI, DPI and Village of Care on the development of a strategic plan dedicated to preventing suicide among Black youth. This is the first strategic plan of its kind in the history of NCDHHS and DMH/DD/SUS. We invite your input to make this the strongest plan possible and are seeking public comment on a draft of the plan. After reading the plan, please share your thoughts by filling out the feedback form by Friday, June 6, 2025.
