The restructuring of central office will bring us together to focus on making the vision and key priorities outlined in Susana Cordova's Superintendent Entry Plan a reality. During this time, central leaders need to care for themselves while also ensuring team members feel included and valued through this time of transition.
Over the coming weeks, we will provide suggested areas of support from the website for you and your team to focus on. Given that many announcements have occurred over the past week, it is recommended that you:
Connect to the three key priorities and ground your team in our vision of Every Child Succeeds.
Model the way by being authentic, transparent and leading with our Shared Core Values.
Be visible and accessible to your team members.
Schedule 1:1 or small group check-ins with your team. Ask how they are doing, what supports they need, and what they would like to see as you work together to heal and move forward. Be prepared to listen to team members as they express their concerns and emotions.
