In September of 2022, The Journey will host the third Youth Worker Symposium on the Sea.

Join us for a 7-night stay at the Majestic Elegance, a 5-star, all-inclusive resort, in Punta Cana Dominican Republic.

Join leading nonprofit professionals and other youth workers from around the globe as we gather to reflect upon and improve our practice, deepen our relationships and refresh ourselves as practitioners dedicated to serving young people.

We'd love to have another great turn out of youth workers from around the US and the globe. So, gather your people, offer your workshop, or just invite your colleagues to enjoy the majestic beaches and pools at this 5-star, all-inclusive resort while networking and learning with other cool youth work professionals.

Total Symposium Pricing
Total pricing for both registration and resort starts at the following prices: 
  • Journey Fellows - $850 (includes conference)
  • Youth Workers - $1,100 (includes conference) 
  • Family & Friends - $975

What's included
Conference registration and learning materials, accommodations, transfer to/from the Punta Cana airport to the resort, all food, drinks, taxes and tips

What's not included
Travel to and from airport in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, travel insurance (highly recommended) or optional excursions

Deposit/Payment Dates
  • Upgraded rooms are available in limited quantity, so book early to get your first choice. 
  • Deposit Required at Booking is $50 per person.
  • Book by March 1, 2022 for guaranteed rates
  • Rooms must be paid in full by July 1, 2022.
  • Refunds can be issued before July 1, 2022.
 
After registering for the Symposium you will receive a follow up email with instructions for booking cruise accommodations with our travel agent, Lora Gohmann.
