Hello TCCA families. My name is Ms. Katie and I am the new Health and Wellness coordinator for TCCA. I have been a nurse since 2007 and I am very excited to be here.

This is a friendly reminder that any scholar that needs to take medication of any form needs a physician authorization form for it to be administered at school.  Any medication from Tylenol and especially EPI pens and inhalers need to be checked into the clinic with the new forms completed and the medication dropped. We do not keep Tylenol, Advil, Tums or any over the counter meds in stock here, only what is brought in by the scholars' families. Authorization forms are below so please have them filled out and bring the medication to the school as soon as possible. I look forward to serving your scholars this school year.

School Store

We have a new school store! You can purchase all your school merch here, including spirit shirts and house shirts which can be worn every Friday.

FOCUS

Please update your scholar's FOCUS Account TODAY. You can log in here. There will be a "Pending Form" for each of your scholars where you can update things like home address, phone numbers, emails, emergency contacts and approved people to pick up your scholar.

School Supplies: DUE NOW! Please use this link to pay the $75 fee per scholar no later than Wednesday, August 14. The school supplies program works best when every family participates. Mr. Greene and his team have ordered, separated, and delivered these supplies into your scholar’s classroom already. If you need financial assistance, please contact Mr. Green.

Car Line Reminders

(PLEASE READ!)

The first couple of weeks of car line are always a little challenging. Please bring your patience and attention when entering car line. Here a couple of things to keep in mind:

• At our gala last year, we auctioned off three fast passes for car line. These three cars will have an orange pass displayed in their windsheild. Please be aware that these cars may pass you in car line. They have been given instructions on how to safely manuever in car line. Thank you to those three families that helped us raise $6500 towards our shade project!
• ALWAYS turn right when leaving campus, even if there is no sign at the exit. This helps keep car line running smoothly. If you need to head west, turn right and then make your first left on Ault which takes you over to Salerno.
• Drop off your scholars at the first opportunity in the drop off zone. Do not wait to pull up close to the doors. There will be staff and safety patrol stationed all along the car line to get scholars safely into the building. Special attention will be paid to out littlest scholars.
• Please leave as a small of a gap between cars as possible. This helps get more cars off of Cove Road.
• All scholars must exit the car from the left. Passing between cars is dangerous. If they must get out of the front passenger seat, have them cross in front of your car.
