Small Town Big Art
A Celebration of
100 Artists of Carpinteria

Lynda Fairly Carpinteria Arts Center hosted a special dinner event celebrating some of the artists in the SMALL TOWN BIG ART book with major donors. The event was Sponsored by Lois Moore in memory of her late son and artist, Mark Tremaine. The event was catered by culinary artist Nirasha Rodriguez of Food Liaison with artists Larry Powell & Shawn Sanders providing background music and performing artist Nicole Powell performing a creative interpretive dance.

Master of Ceremony was our own Vice Chair, Tim Cohen, who auctioned off an artist signed Small Town Big Art book and an original oil painting by Sharon Schock that was painted on site during the celebration. Need to thank all the volunteers who helped out in making the event a memorable success.

Small Town Big Art book was conceived by David Powdrell and came to life by the production team of Janey Cohen, Lea Boyd, Christie Boyd and Marco Rigonati. The intent of the book is to showcase Carpinteria's amazing art community and to have all proceeds from the book sales support the Lynda Fairly Carpinteria Arts Center. The book can be purchased by clicking on the following link below.
