Small Business Grant and Program Assistance (SBGPA) Available


In response to the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), the City of Manchester is pleased to launch its SBGPA grant program, designed to both provide relief to businesses that have experienced significant negative financial impacts associated with the COVID-19 public health emergency and to allow for investments enabling future pandemic-related resilience of business operations.


Awards for small businesses will range from $2,500 to $10,000, as determined by need, in the form of a reimbursement-based grant. Applicants who meet the program eligibility criteria may be awarded up to $10,000 to advance their small business recovery proposals.


The Economic Development Office has helped Barbershops, Salons, convenience stores, Restaurants, Yoga and Pilates Studios, Retail Stores, and more.

Landlord Incentive Program Accepting Participants


A landlord incentive program administered by the Manchester Housing and Redevelopment Authority (MHRA) in partnership with the City of Manchester is now open to local landlords who are interested in participating in the Section 8 Voucher Program.

MHRA is offering up to $3,000 per housing unit and up to $10,000 for each residential property to be used in the repair of housing units to comply with Housing Quality Standards, making them eligible as rental units for Section 8 Voucher holders.

Development Updates

Lincoln Avenue Capital Project


Progress continues on The Lincoln Avenue Capital 351 and 80 Merrimack St. Project that when completed, will feature 142 units for individuals making anywhere from 0-60 percent of the city’s average median annual income. Click here to view the full story from Manchester Ink Link.

Edge Apartments


Cranes are in the air as construction continues on the new Edge Apartments - a Brady Sullivan Properties Project, located on Sundial Ave and Dunbar Street. When completed, the Edge Apartments will feature160 Units and stand 5 stories tall.

21 and 31 Central St. Project


Machines continue to move on the Grand Central Suites Project that when completed, will feature 77 Units.

75 Canal Street Project


Progress continues on the Jones Street Investments Project at 75 Canal Street in Manchester, NH where when completed, will feature 250 Units. Callahan Construction Managers are working hard to make this design a reality. More to come as this beautiful building takes shape!

83 Hanover Street


Opening in May/June of 2024! 40 brand new apartment homes with upscale amenities are being constructed at the former Odd Fellows Building at 83 Hanover Street in downtown Manchester. These cat-friendly studio, one and two bedroom apartments are in the center of the Arts and Theatre District!

Manchester-Boston Regional Airport



Manchester-Boston Regional Airport (MHT) is excited to welcome Breeze Airways to New Hampshire with nonstop service to Charleston International Airport (CHS), Orlando International Airport (MCO), and Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) beginning June 14, 2024. Breeze will also offer one stop/no change of plane BreezeThru service to Tampa International Airport (TPA).
