90+ Cellars Sauvignon Blanc
Country: New Zealand
Region: Marlborough
Grapes: 100% Sauvignon Blanc
Alcohol: 12.5%
Winery notes: Sauvignon Blanc is the darling of Marlborough, and it's also the darling of the 90+ Cellars portfolio. Lot 2 is our most popular wine, and after one taste you'll understand why.
The cool, dry and coastal climate of the Awatere Valley in Marlborough, New Zealand gives this wine its special mineral and herbal character. The wine is crushed, de-stemmed and given a cold soak prior to fermentation in 100% stainless steel. An incredible value and an absolutely delicious wine!
Tasting notes: An expressive wine with bright citrus, lemon zest, grapefruit and undertones of fresh cut grass. The mouth feel is crisp and clean with racy acidity, lively fruit and a hint of minerality on the finish. This is classic New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc.
Pairing: Ideal as an aperitif. Excellent with white fish in sauce, crab-stuffed avocado, scallop carpaccio, veggie wraps, bright salads.
Our Price: $10.00

90+ Cellars Languedoc AOC Rosé
Country: France
Region: Languedoc
Grapes: Grenache, Cinsault
Alcohol: 14.5%
Winery notes: Lot 33 Rosé is a blend of Grenache and Cinsault, harvested from vineyards along the coast of the Mediterranean Sea and the foothills of the Cévennes mountains in France's Languedoc region. Like Provence, Languedoc has an established tradition of producing high quality, dry rosé wines.
This wine receives its light, rosy color from brief contact between the juice and skins, prior to a long, cool fermentation. The weather in Languedoc was warm and dry, but with cool evenings that helped to create ripe fruit and higher alcohol, but enough acid to balance the wine.
Tasting notes: While this vintage of rosé has more body than previous years, it has freshness, acid and texture to balance it out. On the nose, you'll get aromas of ripe strawberries and cherries, accompanied by notes of fresh, wild herbs, white pepper and melon. Dry and bright on the palate, the wine has juicy fruit and an easy-going demeanor. The perfect summer sipper!
Pairing: Ideal as an aperitif and as an accompaniment to the most delicate dishes. Pair with seafood and summer salads.
Our Price: $10.00

90+ Haut - Medoc Grand Bordeaux
Country: France
Region: Bordeaux
Grapes: Cabernet and Merlot
Aging: 1 year in French Oak
Alcohol: 13.5%
Winery notes: The Haut-Medoc, on Bordeaux's Left Bank, is home to four very famous appellations - Margaux, Pauillac, Saint-Estephe and Saint-Julien. Some of the most famous châteaus of Bordeaux are located in this region. The vineyard that produces this wine is nestled in between Margaux and Saint-Julien, overlooking the Garonne River.
This bold wine is made from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grown on gravelly soils from the river. The deep gravel enables an optimum drainage and preserves the vines from the hot summer sun, while the Garonne River creates a micro-climate limiting temperature variations so the berries can grow steadily and achieve maximum ripeness. Nearly a quarter of this wine is aged in new French oak barrels for a year.
Tasting notes Notes of violets and ripe plums on the nose, this wine is robust but fresh on the palate. Lingering notes of cedar and blackcurrants leave you wanting more of this delicious Bordeaux.
Pairing: Pair with steak frites or French Comte. Garlic & Rosemary Pork roast. Burgers and Pizza.
Our Price: $15.00
