June 14 Special Meeting Recap & Next Steps

Dear Diocese of Florida,

This afternoon, diocesan leadership and delegates hosted a productive special meeting to adopt the special rules for the election of the Ninth Bishop of Florida. We're grateful to all who attended, provided feedback, and helped make the meeting a success.

Search and Transition Committee Nominations Are Now Open

With the special rules officially adopted, the Standing Committee has opened nominations for members of our diocesan community to serve on the bishop search and transition committees.

The work of the two committees requires prayerful discernment and deep commitment to serving the diocese. We hope to fill both committees with members who reflect the heart and diversity of our diocese.

Before nominating yourself or someone else, please review the Gifts & Skills document for each committee to ensure those nominated are equipped to serve the diocese in these critically important roles.
