I want to thank you for your support as we close out what has been the most unusual school year in all of my years as an educator. Your children have handled the transition to virtual learning with grace, and I appreciate all of their hard work in keeping up with their studies. I'm very proud of our community, including our fearless faculty and staff who quickly shifted gears to meet the needs of our students.
As we bring this school year to a close, we are already discussing the various scenarios for our return to school in August. I invite you to join me and incoming interim principal Edye Simpson and soon to be interim president John Favier for a Zoom call next week. We will be discussing the various plans for safely coming back to campus. Each meeting will cover the same information, but we are gathering by grades. If you are unable to join us, each of these meetings will be recorded. We will post the recorded meetings on the COVID-19 page that we have set up on the website.
You can find that page here.
We will send the individual Zoom links for each session on Monday, but please plan on joining us at these times:
Class of '21 - Monday, May 18 at 4 p.m.
Class of '22 and Class of '23 - Tuesday, May 19 at 4 p.m.
Class of '24 - Wednesday, May 20 at 4 p.m.
I wish our students the best as they wrap up their classes next week and start their well-deserved summer break, and I thank you for your continued support of our fine school.
