The Home Office wishes you a Merry Christmas! We are excited to announce a special opportunity from ISI to you for the coming year!
As we look ahead to the new year and continue to think about ministry expansion, we wanted to let you know about a new Expanding Our Tent Initiative in 2024. It will provide grant money to fund new and creative ideas for ministry at the local levels to expand our tents in accordance with our Ministry Plan priorities: Prayer, Churches, Communities, Innovation, Collaboration, Returnee Impact, Global Reach, and Equipping and Mentoring.
Do you have a creative “out of the box” idea for ministry to international students, but have no way to fund it?
Is there something you would love to do that you believe could result in students coming to know Jesus, but you simply don’t have the resources?
Maybe it’s a one-time outreach project or an ongoing ministry effort. It could be an endeavor that you’ve already started that needs a boost or a project you'd like to start.
Well, here is your chance! As part of ISI’s Expanding Our Tent Initiative, ISI staff can fill out a simple application for grant funding which has been provided through generous donations designated for ministry expansion and which have been set aside for new and creative ideas for ministry in 2024.
A committee made up of ISI personnel will review all applications and award project grants on a first-come, first-served basis. Supervisor approval is required for an application to be considered.
Starting January 2, 2024, we invite you to apply online for a grant, up to $25,000 (no minimum).
Applications will be prayerfully reviewed by the Expanding Our Tent Initiative Committee.
- All applications are due by Friday, February 16, 2024.
- Grants will be awarded by March 1st or sooner, based on when applications are received and approved. Remember, first-come, first-served; so, apply early!
