So much is happening at Assumption in the coming weeks and months, we are fortunate to have faculty, our Pastor, family and friends ensuring our final months of school are enriched with activities, performances, dances, Celebrations of our Mothers, fundraisers and more! I keep this short and sweet as there is so much to read about- you don't want to miss out on any of it! I look forward to seeing you at one or all of these exciting activities.

WE ARE ASSUMPTION
This week we feature, our entire PreK program. With filled enrollment each year due to the good word each of you spread, the involved parents, dedicated teachers and strong educational program, we are proud to showcase our Prek 3 & Prek4!
FEATURED FACULTY
Congratulations to this week's Featured Faculty-
Paraeducator, Lakshmi Shukla
Congratulations to Mrs. Shukla for being selected as this weeks Featured Faculty by her co-workers. Mrs. Shukla joined Assumption this year in the First Grade as a Paraeducator in Mrs. Leone's class. Mrs. Shukla has a Masters in Special Education, lives in Bethel with her husband and their 7 year old daughter as well as their new 10 month old Golden Retriever!
We thank Mrs. Shukla for all her hard work in this first year, she is a joy to have as part of the family- keep up the great work!
Friends & Family Enrollment Day
Prospective families and current families who have not yet enrolled for next year, are encouraged to sign-up Tuesday April 30 during Friends & Family Day. For those that enroll on this day, you will receive a discounted fee of just $100! Contact Mrs. Santoli anytime from 9:30am-4:30pm and mention this message!

K-8th grade, PreK is currently on a Wait-list but we welcome all those to inquire and learn more as changes and updates happen each day!
We are raising funds to support Assumption and our Teachers and Father Cip are supporting this effort! You can donate $5 or a donation of your choice to your favorite- Mrs. Yoney, Mrs. Andrade or Father Cipriani May 17th. The person with the most money will be TAPED TO THE SIDE OF THE SCHOOL! Come out at 1pm to see the sight and cheer on your favorite!

IN AND AROUND ASSUMPTION
This week we proudly did a Spring Clean Up of the PreK playground-getting rid of the leaves surrounding the area and added a new fence- stop by and check it out!
Assumption Parent Corner
We are proud to showcase Kim Monahan, Co-Chair of this past weekends Wines & Steins Fundraiser. We are sure you would of seen Kim around the halls, outside of school, or in the Parish Hall working tirelessly over the past months organizing this event to ensure it was a success for all our students and school. She solicited food, auction prizes, raffles, donated of her time- all for the good of Assumption! If you see her, be sure to thank her for a successful event full of fun and fundraising!

Spring Uniform Begins
Remember after Spring Break students are able to wear their Warm Weather uniform including short sleeve polo's, dress shorts/skorts, etc.

The Fund for Assumption is one way you can help grow our school for years to come. Gifts of any kind are greatly appreciated between now and the end of the year(June 30) to help offset tuition costs, increase scholarship opportunities and more.
Teachers Appreciation Week is next Week and we need your help!
We are looking for families to help donate items to make next week special for our faculty. Please have your children send in the following:
Monday, May 6: An individual piece of fruit to add to one big fruit basket for your teacher.
Tuesday, May 7: Handmade or Greeting Cards from your child to your teacher.
Thursday, May 9: Flowers from your garden or individual stems to add to one big bouquet for your teacher.
In addition, we are looking for support to make a nice Breakfast Wednesday and Luncheon Friday. To contribute to these sign-up here and bring to school that day. Items can be dropped off to Mrs. Santoli. Thank you for your support!
