Clarification about the Governor's Order
While the Governor's new restriction of 25 people gathering, indoors or outdoors, excludes churches, our Bishop has directed us to respect that limit. Her concern is that the exclusion does not represent the safest practice for protecting people from the spread of infection. Church gatherings, weddings, and funerals have been consistently recognized as significant vectors of recorded outbreaks. As Christ's disciples we, the Church, must be diligent in protecting all of the people whose lives we touch.
Coffee Hour Continues this Sunday
We hope to see you this Sunday, November 22 at 10:00 a.m. for our next every other week coffee hour! The first 15 minutes are for fellowship, then 45 minutes of discussion. This Sunday we will talk about ways to give our Thanksgiving celebrations at home more intentionally religious components. That will be followed by a brief review of the actions taken at Diocesan Convention on November 14.

On December 6 Kim will lead a discussion about the Revolutionary Love Project. On December 20 meet the cast of this year's Christmas pageant and share stories of pageants past. We encourage the cast to attend in costume that Sunday!

Your Gift Matters
During the last nine months, worship services at Grace and Holy Trinity have continued on YouTube. How? Your financial support makes it possible! Be sure to complete a pledge card online for 2021 and consider funding your gifts through appreciated securities. These transactions take a little more time than traditional gifts by check or credit card, so check out this resource with brokerage account information. If you are unable to meet your pledge for 2020, please let us know--it's been a most unusual year! Contact Judy Bowman or Barb Dodd with questions.
New Race at Grace Materials
It may be difficult to talk about, but issues of racial justice may be front and center at your Thanksgiving dinner. Perhaps you just have questions. For more information on racism and racial relations check out our Race at Grace page for resources recommended by community members at GHTC. Interested in joining the next Sacred Ground Circle? Be sure to contact Mother Kim by email or phone
Next Steps Committee
Your Vestry is constituting a committee to look at the next steps for us as a parish to respond to the important issues of racial equity and justice. In order to tap into your wisdom and commitment, the Vestry is seeking parishioner volunteers to be a part of this committee. If you are interested, or just want to know more, please contact Thomas Ewers or Barbara Derry

Donations for Red Door Ministry
Donations are currently suspended for the clothing closet. Many thanks to Peter Knecht and Roland Boone who have been working to be the coordinators for parish drop-offs and community donations. We will advise when it is safe to once again make donations. If you would like to contribute financially to the Red Door Ministry you can do so here.
