We have been made aware of a special needs baby that is in need of a forever family.
Tommy was born on March 11, 2019, and at birth, was diagnosed with microcephaly. His birth mother decided to make an adoption plan for him shortly after his birth. She said she wants him to have a good family who can provide for him in a way that he deserves. Tommy will likely go home from the hospital an NG tube, which is a feeding tube that goes through his nose. However, at this time, he is taking formula through a bottle and tolerating it well. It has been determined that Tommy will likely be blind. An MRI of his brain shows he has a brain stem and a minimal amount of brain matter.
Exact prognosis and extent of delays will be made more clear as he continues to develop. God is so good and has His arms around this sweet boy who was not predicted by the doctors to be with us today.
