Albemarle County Service Announcement

The Survey Has Been Extended!

Residents of the Glenmore Community

With the two informational releases from the ACSA earlier in 2023, and the announcement of the community meeting in December, you are likely aware of the mineral sediment issue that some 4% of the community have experienced. Working closely with the Rivanna Water and Sewer Authority (RWSA), the ACSA continues to investigate all aspects of water treatment and distribution to resolve this issue.

In an attempt to understand the specific conditions that exist in Glenmore homes, and to assist in possibly identifying a key factor(s) that contribute to the mineral sediment formation, we ask you to please complete a survey by “clicking” on the link below.

The survey is intended for every resident,

not just those who have experienced

the sediment.

The survey is shorter if you have not seen the sediment.

As of mid-day on Tuesday, January 30, we had received nearly 200 responses to the survey. Thank you so much for your participation… this is 21% of the community.

However, we wish to hear from more of you.

When you submit your survey results, the information will go directly to a consultant of the RWSA who will compile the information and report the summary analysis to the RWSA and ACSA. Your specific information will not be shared with any other party.

The results of the survey (with no names or addresses included) will be reported to you in a few weeks.

The deadline for completing the survey is now Sunday, February 4, 2024

The survey is intended for every resident, not just those who have experienced the sediment. Your information will not be shared with any other party.

If you have any questions, please call Tim Brown of the ACSA at 434-977-4511, x119

or write to him at tbrown@serviceauthority.org

Please complete the survey by Sunday, February 4, 2024.

Thank you in advance for your assistance.
