International Dance Day
April 29
On International Dance Day, everyone can choose to include by joining Special Olympics athletes across the world on social media for a day of dance, fitness and fun!

Break out your best dance moves and show your love for Special Olympics by sharing a video of you dancing to your favourite music!
So on April 29:
  • Record a 15-30 second video of yourself dancing to your favourite music - or invite your family/friends you might live with to join in the fun!
  • Share your video on your favourite social media platform
  • Tag us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and @SpecialOlympics using #InternationalDanceDay and #InclusiveHealth
  • Tag your friends and challenge them to celebrate #InternationalDanceDay by sharing their own dance video!
Virtual Strong Minds Session
May 5 
Special Olympics Ontario is excited to host a Virtual Strong Minds session with our Clinical Director, Dr. Marina Heifetz! This session will focus on helping athletes develop adaptive coping skills through activities that they can practice in everyday life, like strong breathing, positive messages and more!

Mindfulness Series
May 12
Special Olympics athletes and a caregiver are invited to participate in a virtual mindfulness series.

Join us for 1 hour each week for 6 weeks. Athletes can be any age & live anywhere in Canada. 

Starting Date: Wednesday, May 12, 2021 
Time: 6:30 PM EST
