For our final Workout Wednesday, join us for the fan-favourite Tabata workout! Come ready TONIGHT at 7:30pm to enjoy some great tunes and exercises that cover all the themes from the program.

It’s time to nominate and select 2022 Special Olympics Ontario Provincial Awards winners (for the period of July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022). We are once again looking for deserving athletes, coaches, and volunteers in various categories, so get your nominations in today!


To nominate athletes and volunteers please visit our Provincial Awards Site and submit your nomination on the online forms provided. Please note that the deadline date is Friday, June 17, 2022. Also, there is a helpful checklist on the main page of the awards site detailing some of the key information you will need when submitting a nomination.

Introduction to Money Management

We are bringing you an introductory workshop on Money Management, delivered to you by our Occupational Therapy students, Gaby and David. This interactive 1-hour session will consist of the following topics: values and expenses, needs vs wants, tips for saving and how to create a personalized spending plan. There will be group-based activities, note-taking tasks, interactive quizzes, and small breakout group activities. An athlete manual with worksheets, lessons and resources will be provided for participants to follow along during the workshop and to complete money management activities from home.

Are you looking to learn new skills and learn about making media accessible and inclusive during a free 14-week program? Provided through Mohawk College, this "Introduction to Accessible Content Creation Certificate Program" offers individuals with disabilities an opportunity to work and learn in the field of Accessible Digital Media.
