I will be doing a presentation on how to reduce conflict, communicate better, and get more effective results
with a team on April 20, 2011 at the Humboldt Area Foundation on Indianola Road and if you can make it, I'd love to see you there.
The presentation is being conducted for the Humboldt County non-profit organizations but it's open to anyone who's interested. It's called "Oh! You mean we're supposed to work TOGETHER?"
Whether your team is a company or a family, learning how to communicate better can't hurt and this will be a fun presentation.
NorCan's Summation of the workshop:
"If we could do everything by ourselves, we'd have it done already. The reality is that we need others to accomplish our personal, professional, and organizational goals, but it can be difficult to get everyone working together in the same direction. This lively and engaging presentation will help attendees develop the skills they need to work better together, stay focused on the group's objectives (while not sacrificing your own), and improve communication to facilitate more effective problem solving."
Date: Wednesday, April 20th (please register by 5pm on Fri., 4/15)
Time: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm (light breakfast fare included)
Location: Emmerson Room, Humboldt Area Foundation (373 Indianola Rd., Bayside)
