Important Message from GCCCD
   
On April 6, there will be a Special Primary for the 79th State Assembly District. Only those who live in the 79th District can vote in the election. The area encompasses southeastern San Diego, the cities of La Mesa and Lemon Grove, and parts of Chula Vista, Bonita, and National City. If you are not sure if you live in the 79th Assembly District, you can check at https://rov.sandiegocounty.gov/rov/Eng/Voters.asp
 
The San Diego Registrar of Voters and your assigned polling place will be open 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Election Day, April 6. You can find your assigned polling place inside your mail ballot packet or you can look it up at https://rov.sandiegocounty.gov/rov/Eng/polling.asp
 
 
Important Dates: 
March 8: Mail ballots sent to registered voters residing in the 79th Assembly District 
March 8: Early voting begins at Registrar's Office, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (5600 Overland Ave. in Kearny Mesa)
March 22: Voter Registration deadline 
March 29: Mail ballot drop-off locations open through April 6. Visit each location's website for hours of operation.(Locations closed on March 31) 
April 6: Election Day, polling places and Registrar's office open from 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM
