The Christmas Album (1979)
Thank you for this incredible gift, Mike!

Mike Swanson '87, provides audio recordings, called "needle drops," which have been digitized from SJHS Choir vinyl albums.
The vinyl albums used for these conversions were graciously provided by Ren Baldwin, Jim Talbot, and Allison Whittier Kurtz.
According to Mike, "due to the age and quality of the source vinyl records, these audio files will not sound as pristine as modern digital recordings. However, every effort has been made to convert them as faithfully as possible. Other than the removal of common distortions (hiss, clicks/pops, crackle, hum/rumble), no equalization has been performed on these tracks."
for additional SJHS recordings!

SJPS Elementary Students Thank Whirlpool Corporation in a Special Way
|
|
Students at SJPS Elementary schools demonstrated their gratitude and creativity last week, generating hundreds of handmade thank you cards for Whirlpool Corporation. The district, along with neighboring school districts Benton Harbor Area Schools and Lakeshore Public Schools, were the recipients of $250,000 in funding from the 2021 Whirlpool Community Charity Golf Event. We are grateful!

"Despite a second year of not having the Whirlpool Community Charity Golf Event due to the pandemic, we are so fortunate that we were able to still raise enough donations to support our benefiting charities with amounts that we forecasted earlier in the year. Whirlpool Corporation and its Partner Companies stepped up knowing the need is so great, especially this year."
