Walled Lake Consolidated Schools
Weekly Communication
In times of uncertainty and change, effective communication is KEY to our success! In an effort for the Special Services Department to support the ongoing needs of staff and building leaders, each week you will receive a newsletter that highlights the exceptional work you are doing, updates in Special Education and resources to guide your work.
Setting Boundaries: Maintaining Self Care
We understand that you have been challenged with adjusting the way you support learners, collaborate with colleagues and manage your work/life balance. During these times, it is important to set personal boundaries and ensure that you are maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

Self-Care  is any activity that we do deliberately in order to take care of our mental, emotional, and physical health. Although it's a simple concept in theory, it's something we very often overlook. Each week, we will highlight strategies that will help you focus on self-care and wellness.

Question of the Week:
How do you maintain wellness/self-care and set boundaries?

We will share these in an upcoming newsletter!
