SEE YOU NEXT WEEK!
Many of you have already registered for the Ready, Set, Get Back to Business symposium happening next week. For those who haven't yet registered - download our app to check out the amazing line-up and connect with fellow participants.

This special edition newsletter will provide you with insider tips to make your symposium experience the best it can be.

First, take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with the app (or desktop version). Be sure to update your profile information and sign up for individual sessions. Check out the Wall for comments and photos and check in with other attendees to start networking. We hope to hear your voice during the symposium and we look forward to your feedback.

Here’s to a great event!
So You've Downloaded the App, Now What?
  • Explore each session and click the little circle/plus sign next to its title to begin registration – a blue check mark will appear.

  • Fill out your name and email address.

  • Pause – are you a robot?

  • If the answer is no, fill out the "captcha code" and continue (on the desktop version you will have to click a box, which is easier for robots, no?).

  • Check your email for your registration link and add to your calendar. You will use this link to enter the session. Note that ZOOM links will go live shortly before the session is scheduled to begin.

  • Check out who else is participating and presenting – start populating your “Connections” tab (located at the bottom of your screen). You can network throughout the symposium with both presenters and participants!
Symposium Podcast Recommendation:
Cheryl Baldwin covers so much ground as a guest on The Successful Bookkeeper podcast, from hiring great staff to business continuity practices.

Cheryl is facilitating a discussion on May 12 during Session 3: What’s your Financial Plan to Move Forward?

WRITING ON THE WALL:

Consider this the "mingling" section of the app, where you'll find daily observances, insights, and photos from other attendees.

You'll also find helpful tips from the event organizers, like:

ZOOM: You need to download before officially registering and the links won't go live until shortly before the posted start time.

TIME ZONES: All listed times are in EDT, so you'll need to make sure you've adjusted the time to where you are in Canada.

Note: You can only post to the Wall when using the app.
Bessie Box founders: Shanika Abeysinghe, Spencer Kerber and Alex Leakos
