Trunk or Treat Volunteers Needed
Friday, October 30 | 6-8pm
Hennepin Avenue UMC is committed to a fun and safe Trunk-or-Treat event for kids and families in the community. All are welcome to come, in costume or not, to our outdoor Halloween party. Tour a spooky-good variety of themed trunks and vote for your favorites!

All children will be given a pre-stuffed bag of allergen-free candy after casting their vote. No RSVP is required, but all must wear masks and maintain social distancing. It will be –boo!– a surprisingly great time to be together!

Here are some opportunities to be involved:
Trunk host - Individuals, families, and local organizations are invited to decorate trunks and will be entered to win the prize for "Favorite Trunk," "Scariest Trunk" and "Funniest Trunk," as voted on by those who attend.

Event Usher - Due to Covid-19, this year's event will be held completely outdoors. We still anticipate a large number of guests, and it's going to require people who are willing to mask up and help others stay safe while enjoying this year's event.

If you're unable to attend but would like to help, you can click one of the links below and donate candy that can be sent directly to the church:

Let's Chalk the Vote!
Now through November 3
Early voting for the November election has begun in Minnesota!

Let’s get the word out about voting in our communities, in a fun, socially-distanced way – through chalk! Grab your sidewalk chalk and write messages on your sidewalks or even on trails that you use. Messages like, “Every Vote Counts," Make Your Voice Heard," and even the one pictured above! Let’s help make sure everyone knows that the most effective way to affect change is by voting.
