Please continue to monitor the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Coronavirus (COVID-19) webpage for the most current clinical guidance. • COVID-19 Alternate Care Site Resources, a collection that can help stakeholders address capacity and capability gaps and includes resources such as:
  • Alternate Care Sites (ACS) Toolkit, Second Edition (helps with establishing and operationalizing ACS);
  • Alternate Care Strategies Video (where ASPR’s Dr. Denis FitzGerald discusses the key characteristics of an ACS, the relationship between an ACS and Federal Medical Station [FMS], and the ACS Toolkit); and
  • Healthcare Capacity Building: Alternative Care Sites and Federal Medical Stations
• Mini Modules to Relieve Stress for Healthcare Workers Responding to COVID-19: Stress Management Exercise (a short video that can help you manage stress before, during, and/or after your shift).

• COVID-19 Healthcare Workforce Virtual Toolkit (links to tools and resource collections, from workforce protection to licensure and scope of practices, for decision-makers managing healthcare workforce challenges in response to the COVID-19 emergency).

Establishing Medical Operations Coordination Cells (MOCCs) for COVID-19 Webinar, to be held on April 24, from 2:00-3:15 PM ET, will feature information on the establishment of MOCCs, as well as guidance and lessons learned from jurisdictions that have used this concept for previous emergencies and COVID-19. COVID-19 Clinical Rounds Peer-to-Peer Virtual Communities of Practice are a collaborative effort between ASPR, the National Emerging Special Pathogen Training and Education Center (NETEC), and Project ECHO. These interactive virtual learning sessions aim to create a peer-to-peer learning network where clinicians from the U.S. and abroad who have more experience treating patients with COVID-19 share their challenges and successes; a generous amount of time for participant Q & A is also provided.  Three webinar topics are covered every week:

• EMS: Patient Care and Operations (Mondays, 12:00-1:00 PM ET)
• Critical Care: Lifesaving Treatment and Clinical Operations (Tuesdays, 12:00-1:00 PM ET)
