I would like to extend "Season's Greetings" from my family to yours.
We have witnessed another memorable and blessed year come to a close. Our community remains the envy of many places worldwide in which to reside. The low unemployment and crime rates, low taxes, highly rated schools, and high standard of living create an environment desirable in which to live, work, and raise a family. We have great neighbors which make great neighborhoods. It is truly our people that promote and sustain the welcoming, safe, and healthy atmosphere that we call home.
I appreciate your support and encouragement to serve one more term on the Board of County Commissioners. It is truly an honor to represent you, your family, your friends, and your neighbors on this governing body. I am the first in my family to serve in public office, a duty that I treat with intense diligence and devotion. If I may be of any assistance to you, please do not hesitate to contact me.
The month of December offers a time of reflection upon the person and work of Jesus Christ and an opportunity to redeem time with family. These are my greatest priorities: faith and family. I am grateful for a God that loves me and sent His Son, Jesus, to die for my sins, be buried, and rise again on the third day. Thanks be unto God for His unspeakable gift and the provision of salvation through Christ Jesus. I appreciate the love my family has for me, too. It is a blessing to have the support and devotion of my wife of 25 years and four children who also are committed to their faith and family. We are truly blessed beyond measure.
As 2018 comes to an inevitable end and another year begins to materialize, I wish you the very best. May God richly bless you and your family as you see and serve Him.
Jeb S. Smith
